There have been so many work and family fluctuations recently that it wasn't always possible to prepare a story, which is unfortunately the case today. But I want to share with you a few beautiful places I've found out about:

1) River's Blue Elephants - Stunning poetry
2) Cruel Virgin - Keen observations
3) Viruswitch - There's a glass of wine waiting for you!
4) Young at Heart in San Diego - New blog from a nice gal.

And just to show you I don't only notice the ladies, here are two male bloggers:
5) The Chaotic One - Opinions with soul
6) Hantojin - Euian's remarkable Signus drawings

I will think very hard tonight while I'm sleeping and tomorrow, and hope to have a story by the European evening.

I am SO taken aback with any possible emotion you can think of right now, when I read that page (especially the comments)!

I wonder what else I will discover in those archives of yours... Archive treasure-hunt continues...

*BTW thank you for including me in the beautiful places.*

Thank you Indie for including me too, what an honor! Although I think that you love VirusWitch best, since your link to me actually goes to her blog! But that's cool, just to be mentioned is a big thrill for me and who am I to talk..I only just learned how to link a week ago ;-P

Young at Heart: I'm so sorry about the link. It's a result of my sloppiness. I've fixed it now. Actually, I love all of you.

Thinkin hard eh !! I didnt think it required such an effort to produce a story....esp you....You seem to be a natural writer. Story awaited !

Rust: Natural writer? I wish! Writing never came natural or easy to me. That's why I only like to write such short stories. A few of the first 40 or so stories came easily. After that it got really tough. And lately it's gotten really, really tough. I just couldn't go staying up until 2am each night just to write something (my best ideas come late at night). But I don't want to complain. Having all these nice people come by and tell me they like what I wrote makes it worth all the effort.

Indie is just very modest. Thats all. ;-)

When I think of what artists go through to become good in their art, then I wonder, why should it be with writing different? Look how much training a pianist or a ballet dancer must go through. How many years the training takes to become a virtuoso, and how much dedication and sacrifice of ones personal life it takes. Writing is an art equal in magnificence to music and dance. So if it would be difficult to achieve a high level, I wouldn’t be surprised.

I can imagine how hard it is to write a story every day... I tried to write something once, but after writing 12 pages I gave up because I had no idea how to continue... :) ...and thank you for your compliment LOL... I must admit I was shocked a little bit when I saw the post :) ...good luck in writing...looking forward for the next story!

I really am flattered and appreciative. I just tend to howl on the page. Thank you for your kind words about my silly blog!

Enemy: You have a great blog. Rich in content.

Sly: It's not as hard having the photos than if I'd sit here with no photos and want to write something. Actually I did the same thing when I was out of high school. I wanted to write a book. Wound up with about 15 pages and didn't know what next.

Virus Witch: I don't know if I'm a good writer or not. If the stories work, then I am good. They usually work for me, but that doesn't mean anyone else will understand them. Anytime I read a good book, I see that I'm still on the ground level.

Everyone: Today's story did not work out either :-( And next week I'm holding a two day seminar, meaning I'll post Monday's story, and then have to take two days off, and post again Wednesday night. I'll post a weekend photo tomorrow, though, if anyone wants to play.

Pansi: Oh yeah! Wasn't great imagery on the poem? Ask Mrs. Weirsdo to explain to you what imagery is. I'm still free because I have powerful connections reaching right up into G.I. Joe headquarters.

indeterminacy,
Thanks so much for linking me (and for calling my blog "a beautiful place"). I'm truly flattered. :)

I should have noticed this sooner, but I hadn't been coming online much.

I love Hantojin's work and have been visiting him for a while. He is so talented and so young! I think he's 23.
About #316 above, how DOES a man get a waistline like that anyway? Must work out or......genes?
I also visit Stumbleupon regularly and have found some amazing sites over there. What a great concept. Put them all in one place! I'm going to stumble you now if this site isn't already over there.
Peace..............

Hi Helen, Stumbleupon was the first thing I ever got into in the blogosphere. They certainly are useful for finding new blogs.
