Gaby thrust her head into the thoughts of the boy she liked. She saw metallic permutations of light pulsing off in level planes extending from her point of view. The streaming motion repeated with algorithmic precision, as if driven by the spinning gears of a well-oiled machine. She closed her eyes and basked in the cycle of thought currents whisking past her. Rays of imagination tickled her nose. She longed to tumble through that universe of light, hands outstretched, grasping the thoughts, spinning them backwards, adding a tangent here and a titillation there. "Now for the fun," Gaby thought, as she stuck out her tongue and flashed the camera. In no time at all her face moved in to dominate the resulting disarray.

Story #314

Hmmm... Interesting story. What I don't understand is this - What purpose did Gaby's playful intrusion into the boy's thoughts serve? I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that her face would now dominate the boy's thoughts.

Brilliant.

I think I may not have written this as well as it could have been written. That's kind of the sense I wanted to get across but I'm still not completely satisfied. (I had a bad day yesterday).

Ah. Alright. It's still good, though.

Yes, it is good. Don't let the bad day get you down. Some of my best stuff comes from adversity. You are an original voice. I love your page!

There have been many nights as I am about two thirds asleep when a couple of your stories consumes my mind and thoughts. The ones concerning your love of music. The girl singer whose spirit slips away to a tavern while she plays on stage and then one where the spirits of the dead musicians come around whenever a band was playing. They seem very touchy-feely and are my favorite ones you have written.

Ranting human: Thanks.

Enemy: Thanks to you, too. I do try actually to write things I've never heard of before, although Mushroom or someone else comes along and tells me I recreated something that already existed but that I never heard of. Like story #181. Still, I'll keep trying.

Tom&Icy: Thanks for telling your favorites. Viruswitch gave me the idea of asking what everyone's favorite would be, and now I know yours. I'll go and search out the numbers for her later.

I love it. That's the kind of face that'll really set off the old fiber optics.

let me assure you, Doug, that your compliment is not wasted. we'll do our best to find the right recipient for you. :-D

Doug: What about being erotically brushed with a bundle of fiber optics. That might be cool, too.

Deryke: You catch on fast ;-) But seriously, I think only 2 out of every 3 photos actually have cute young girls on them.

Ariel: I think Doug hangs out here to pick up all the pretty ladies who stop by ;-)

Sometimes I wish I wouldnt have to search in the dictionary for new words every time I read your stories. :P. But no, thats why I read them, to steal your vocabulary :)).

Viruswitch: Actually I think my vocabulary is relatively meager, compared to real authors. I read books and wonder where they find all those words I've never heard of before. And since I've lived away from America so long, I think my vocabulary has suffered. What I don't do is sit here with a thesaurus or dictionary and try to find words I've never used before. That seems pretentious, especially since one can't be sure of the connotations. I hope you will still read after you have learned all my words ;-)

Mushroom: I insert the comment: Every girl is a matrix.
