A beautiful model was found standing in the parking lot. People walked up to her, peered at her from all sides, then asked her what she was doing there, but she chose to remain a mystery. They only got that enigmatic model's smile from her lips, the kind that aroused covetous emotions in men to possess the model and in women to possess the clothes. A few helpful individuals scouted the area for anyone looking like a professional photographer or camera crew, but none were found, though a few curious onlookers made the odd snapshot to take with them as a souvenir, while the model posed, smiled and blinked. They called diverse model agencies to see if any were missing a model, for soon it would be evening, and much too cold for what she was wearing. Finally a quick-witted passerby had a brilliant idea: "Is that a Dior?" he asked, looking inside her dress, at the back, to see what was on the label. They telephoned the designer who drove by a half hour later in a mannequin truck and took her away.

No one ever loses anything like that in my neighborhood. The occasional feral waif at the Texaco trying to buy cigarettes, a few goth kids who were accidentally-on-purpose ditched by their folks at the roller skating rink across the main drag, and once in awhile there'll be a cute girl abandoned in the supermarket parking lot but the green apron is a dead giveaway it's one of the latte-wenches from the Buzzers coffee stand in the parking lot on break. Closest thing to actually finding someone I could take home and prop in the corner was found at the bus depot up the street; she was adequately okay looking and claimed to be horny, but she was visibly used goods. As Mom always said, "don't pick that up, you don't know where it's been... and for heaven's sake, son, don't put that in your mouth!

Intriguing this model... Perhaps she was there only to show off in her fancy dress, which could be a fake Dior creation... She could be rehearsing for a mask ball once Carnival is this near... Perhaps she was in a dream treading on a dream passarelle...
Have a NICE weekend! What will Rosenmontag be like over there?? ;)

Hi M.P.: It's sometimes very intriguing to imagine what was going on behind the camera. What was the reason for things being just as they were in the photo. If I ever find one your photos and write a story about it, you will have to tell me how accurate it turned out. ;-)
