Indeterminacies

Thank you everyone for being so patient with me while I try to get started again. I've finally commented the stories for Indeterminacy #410, which was a photograph of my muse. And I reposted all the stories at the companion blog Indeterminacies, along with links to the contributors. They really deserve their own place somewhere.

For those who don't know, Indeterminacies used to be the blog where I reposted visitor stories (when there were fewer of them, and i had more time). Feel free to browse the archives and enjoy the various perspectives arising out of a single source.

Patience has been well-rewarded here in the past. It's not a problem.

I have nothing but time when it means waiting for you Inde.

Doug: I feel rewarded when anyone stops by here after such a long period of radio silence.

Cooper: Your comment made me smile - because it reminded me once how I was "courting" a complex artist lady in Hamburg, while I lived in the province - 3 1/2 half hour's drive away. We wanted to go to the Baltic Sea together, but I took a wrong exit, and showed up late, just in the moment she was getting in the car to leave without me. She was furious, and really tore into me. I really lost interest after that.

Something strange has happened with blogger - usually I get the comments mailed to me, but these two weren't. I even checked my spam folder. Nothing. Anyone else have this problem?

We all know you've been through a rough time - your absence only proves your priorities are straight on.

I hate to spam other people's blogs so I usually never do it. But I have been having zero luck getting participants for my first annual story contest. The topic is the horrors of fruitcake. Since anybody with even a modicum of talent should be able to beat the ridiculous example I wrote, y'all are missing out if you don't c'mon down and give it a shot! You will gain infamy, misfortune and disdain...oh wait. That's the last review for Death Cheese. I mean, you will gain fame, fortune and acclaim. That's right, click here and you too can join the ranks of the best! Or at least you can have fun and win priceless prizes.

Indie, I'm glad you have been able to return to the blog. Your absence just reminds us that there are real people with real responsibilities and relationships behind each blog. In this more-or-less anonymous globally interconnected world, it's nice to know. I hope things are going well for your family, and I look forward to reading (and writing, I hope) some new fiction here.

Everything in its own time, Indy. I followed the link and enjoyed reading the blue ghost post. What you are doing here is so very creative.

I guess it's not such a bad thing that I've been coming over infrequently since there haven't been regular updates. ;-)

Good to see you back in gear and know that your muse is getting there too.

Good to have you back Indie.

PS I've been having the same problem with missing emails. I blame the gremlins.

Indie, I had the same problem the same day. It seems to have corrected on its own.
