Indeterminacy = неопределенность (Neopredelennost)

Saschina, a girl who knows all the subtleties of casting shadows, has translated one of my stories into Russian!

I'm quite honored that she would take the time and trouble to do all this. If you can read Russian, please stop by Sashina's journal and have a look, and tell all your Russian-speaking friends.

If the pretty cyrillic letters are too much for you, have a browse through one of Shashina's photo-art galleries at foto.mail.ru and fotocommunity.com.

Thank you, Sasha, for this compliment of wanting to share my stories in your own language.

It must be amazing to have your work translated like that.
Congrats to both of you!

Minka: I was very flattered that Sasha wanted to translate this story. Otherwise, I have a three of my stories translated into Spanish, a few in Polish, and one in Italian. The last story was originally writte in German - and did you check out Franziska's stories linked there?

The only things I know how to say in Russian are yes (da,) no (nyet) and I want you now (have no idea how to spell it out)
I guess I'd be pretty popular with the men there!

Cheesemaster: I don't think you would need to say anything to be popular with the men. I think aglance and a smile is all you would need.

I remember those times as great American writers were better known in Russia than in their home land. Russians read a lot, they also have wonderful writers of their own. And they are very picky. Who knows? May be one day you will be well known there. And this would mean a lot. It certainly would. I wish you that, Indie. :-)
